The political parties law in Sudan, and all the laws of democratic countries in the world, prohibit receiving funding from foreign parties, so as not to be affected by any influences that outweigh or give consideration to the interest of the foreigner over the interest of the country, and hence the law came to criminalize receiving any foreign funding.. and Professor Rasha Awad when she confirms By receiving funding from foreign organizations, the “Taqaddum” coalition acknowledges that the parties forming that coalition have committed a criminal act, explicitly stated in the Party Organization Law.

There is another matter that is prohibited and criminalized by the Party Organization Law, which is the use of violence in political life, and this may include incitement, assistance, or complicity to commit violence in political life…Do not Taqaddam’s practices, its media activities, its political movements, its advocacy, and its work as a political incubator for rapid support constitute a use of violence? In political practice? Or open incitement and support for this witnessed violence? Because uprooting the roots of the 1956 state, establishing democracy, and fighting the remnants… There is no doubt that these are political goals that should be pursued through competition and advocacy.

Peaceful, not killing, looting and rape. The “Taqaddum” coalition has been explicitly or implicitly defending those forces and their practices, providing them with media support, and forming a political incubator for them. In order to achieve those goals, it has even signed a political agreement with those forces. Does this not constitute a violation of the Parties Law in its articles that criminalize the use of violence? In political work?

The leadership of the Coordination of Civil Democratic Forces “Taqaddam” must recognize the danger of their practices and actions and the possibility of holding them accountable later as parties with legal personality in accordance with the Parties Law, not to mention personal accountability.
