Spotlights: Bitter Separation and Displacement

It is difficult to write today… I don’t know, but it is the great pain and sadness for a country torn apart by a damned and senseless war that displaced families and separated friends and neighbors, of long neighbourhood ,and loved ones… most Sudanese is suffering … inside Sudan and abroad .
Life in all its meanings has been disrupted in… The calm white hose of the Nile and the mighty blue one, and its meeting place at the beautiful Junction, I do not know how Khartoum became, after we left it one that early on 8th May .2023 morning, carrying hidden sadness. Being away from it and from the homeland was not a choice… The first spark of war was the reason for the unsafe departure from a homeland that dreamed of security and stability. The causes are many, and the distance from the homeland is the same… It was a year of life… that separated your family and reunited you with your small family, and we thank Allah for this amazing meeting.
The absurd war has prolonged and lost its true motives for transformation and transition to a democratic situation that I do not think will be achieved over the remains of bodies and under the fire of cannons and missiles and the various and continuous attacks of fire… I cry for my beloved homeland. Building homelands is everyone’s right… Neither wars nor destruction and devastation achieve stability nor build a homeland.
Our invitation was for dialogue between the parties to the conflict… Where is the conflict? It is war, gentlemen… It killed and displaced and made everyone flee from its hell..
One day, the damned war will end. In which we lost precious lives, infants… minors… the elderly, the elderly, and patients searching for treatment in hospitals that were bombed and completely destroyed.
We must learn the lesson after this senseless war.
We have to determine our priorities in building a state of institutions as we always invite for this demand and begin to review ourselves and our way of life before the war.
Let us set and develop our plans with different and deep thinking and strategies that will make Sudan a State of institutions to reserve its seat in the front rows like other institutional States in the surrounding area , the region, and the whole world.
