Press statement

Some media outlets have reported that the armed forces have received an invitation from the French organization Promediation to participate in a workshop in Cairo on Darfur, together with the armed groups signatories to the Juba Peace Agreement and the Daglo terrorist militia.

The armed forces would like to clarify that it is not part of the workshop and has not received and official invitation regarding the event and has not heard of it except through media outlets.
