Narcissistic Acts: The History of Sudan is on an Edge!

By: Alaa Babiker

Sudan, the third largest country in Africa. The country that has Muslims and Christians live all together in peace and alliance along with all the other foreign different nationalities and religions. The country which has a history that is beyond all imaginations. The Sudanese Kings used to fight and lead war campaigns at the age of just 17 years old. The Sudanese Queens used to also lead wars, but against all outsiders not against themselves!

The Sudanese Queens used to live a luxurious life, where they had people playing flute to them for relaxation. All is shown at the pyramids of Al-Bajrawia and the Pyramids of Meroë in Sudan. Our history Brights Shine. But what about our future? This is a question that we all have been thinking of since decades, and still haven’t got a clear answer for it yet.

What Happened to us?! Now, even the history is being erased one after another. This image displayed at the top of this article was recently been published on social media, showing Shambat Bridge just after its completion, the one that was recently literally been Cut into two halfs. People gathered to celebrate the victory of having two of the main cities in Khartoum state being connected.
The photo was accompanied by this commentary: ( The foundation stone and construction stages for Shambat Bridge, which was constructed by an Italian company. The contract was signed between the company and the Sudanese government in 1962, and the bridge was completed in July 1965. The foundation stone was put by President Ibrahim Aboud. The Beidge was considered to be the first bridge between Omdurman, West side of the Nile, and Khartoum Bahri, East side of the Nile). Alliance, Grace, Happiness, Wisdom, and Togetherness were all present. Now, where have they gone?!

This is a call to all politicians, please consider the people of Sudan and their history. think wise and unite for the sake of all and not one. Sudan is great, and will very soon return to its greatness.
