SMS: The Helpless FFC

By: Muawad Mustafa Rashid

According to news articles a delegation representing the Forces of Freedom and Change (FFC) accompanied by two of the former Sovereignty Council met with the Ugandan President in Kampala to discuss the crisis of Sudan.
This ridiculous step is clear evidence our internal front is very fragile.
Wasn’t it better for the FFC (Framework Agreement signatories) to meet with the non-signatories political forces i.e. DUP,, Baath, FFC (Democratic Bloc), SLAM (Minnawi), JEM (Jibril) and others, to agree on a unified vision to stop war instead of heading to Kampala?
The visit the delegation which represents the Framework Agreement signatories means simply that the continuation of the disputes amid the civilians.
The civilians who fail to disregard their disputes and narrow interests to sit round negotiations table will definitely fail in stopping the ongoing absurd war.
It will be tragic if the FFC tour aims at mobilizing support to the Rapid Support Forces militia as this simply means that they are commiting a political suicide because all the stakeholders are strongly supporting the Sudanese army
God bless Sudan and its people
