SMS: Beware the Grey Area

By: Muawad Mustafa Rashid

According to the developments the the battlefield it is apparent that the war in Khartoum is in its final stages despite the active media campaign of the Rapid Support Forces which aims at creating confusion amidist the public.
The Sudanese army now is taking the lead and the relellion militias are escaping the battlefield heading to safe havens in their home villages in Darfur leaving their weapons and uniforms behind.
This developments in the battlefield created a new reality which will have its consequences on the political, exonomi and military scene.
The upcoming stage is more difficult as there will be several priorities including working out a plan to prevent the occurance of such rebellion considering that we have several armed struggle groups.
The first step after the war stops is that all the armed struggle groups should be, along with their weapons, under the comannandment of the Sudanese army,.
Any other solution that ignores the above will be just a ticking bomb which nobody wants after the ongoing experience.
God bless Sudan and its people.
