Belaish receives Deputy Secretary-General of FMRD

Ambassador Mohammed Belaish, the Special Representative of the African Union in Sudan, received in his office today, Mohammed Al-Amin Ahmed, Deputy Secretary-General of the Future Movement for Reform and Development, and Chairman of the Preparatory Committee for the General Conference.

Mohammed Al-Amin briefed Ambassador Belaish on the movement’s campaign for the Movement’s baiscs building in the center and the states, and the arrangements for holding the first general conference, which is scheduled to be held on March 15, extending invitation to ambassador Belaish to honor and address the opening session of the conference.

On his part, Ambassador Belaish provided review on the current political process, stressing on its importance and being a comprehensive and integrated political process, and the importance of dialogue between the Sudanese parties to reach an agreed-upon civil government leading to free and fair elections, expressing pleasure and welcome to the invitation to attend the movement’s first general conference opening session.
