Within the endeavors of the Citizen  newspaper to communicate with the effective institutions in the country, the General Manager, Al-Rasheed Mutasim, accompanied by the Editor-in-Chief visited this morning the head office of Sudan Meteorological Authority (SMA) to introduce the paper and its objectives in serving the targeted readers.

The delegation was received warmly by the senior staff of the Authority and was briefed on the activities of the SMA represented by monitoring, forecasting, building of external cooperation relations to acquire information, data and expectations to ensure the safety of life and property.

For his part, the Director of Researches in the SMA , Mohamed Shareef Mohamed Zain affirmed their welcoming to cooperate with the Citizen newspaper through providing a daily forecasting circular to be published in the paper, besides making coordinating the communications with other concerned officials to contribute their writings on the issues related to meteorology.
