Kassala State, Union of Arab exporters and importers reach agreement

The government of Ksssala State and the Union of Arab exporters and importers reached agreement on  supporting the producers in the various  sectors , specially the agricultural and animal sectors by making use of the State’ s tremendous potentialities  in these two sectors.

The joint meeting between the acting governor of Kassala State, khojali Hamad Abdalla and the  delegation of the Union  led  by the Chairman of the Union’s Board of Trustees , Hafiz Al-Hilali  discussed possibility of establishment of   strategic relations between the Union and the State by making use  of the State’s potentialities  which need restructuring  and rehabilitation.

Hafiz said that the presence of representatives of producers of the horticulture led to establishment of a holding company owned by the producers for benefiting from the high production.

He added that  there are some obstacles  facing the producers  related  to  operations of marketing, storage  and  packing , disclosing that the Union will work for opening  markets  which would avail  opportunity  for the producers  to work  with strategic and coordinating  way.

Hafiz pointed out that agreement was reached for employing think-tanks  to conduct strategic and  financing studies which will support the factors of production which are represented in Kassala airport  and the free zone. He indicated that the Union would work in all sectors and support the producers by providing a long-term funding for them.

He affirmed possibility of signing agreements, implementing major investment projects and attracting investors as there is a genuine desire from the government of the state to support the producers.
