Freeni Authorizes Regulation Organizing the work of Children’s Development Centers in the State of Khartoum

Mr. Siddig Hassan Freeni, Minister of Social Development in charge of Khartoum State, stressed the importance of developing policies, strategies, legislation, regulations and programs related to educational requirements for early childhood stages in children’s development centers, calling for searching for innovative means to develop their talents in many fields by following the latest effective methods that keep pace with global trends.
This came when he passed in his office at the Ministry’s headquarters the regulation regulating the work of children’s development centers in the state of Khartoum for the year 2023 AD, in the presence of the Ms Safaa Khalifa Habani, Secretary General of the Child Welfare Council, and Dr. Othman Tambel, Director of the General Department of Human and Financial Resources at the Ministry of Development, in addition to the Director of the Legal Department at the Ministry.
The regulation allows private entities to submit requests to the State Child Welfare Council to establish centers for developing children’s capabilities in accordance with the controls and requirements regulating the regulation, including availing in the building health and safety conditions.
Appointing social researchers with specialization and experience, to provide development and rehabilitation programs for the targeted segments of children, according to the center’s direction, and to ascending periodic reports in this regard.
