Khartoum International Fair to launch Tuesday

Director General of Foreign Trade, Um Salma Mohamed Ahmed announced the launch of the 40th session of the Khartoum International Fair at the Burri Fairgrounds, with the participation of 400 companies, 12 countries and 16 states under the slogan “Khartoum without drugs” and its activities will continue until January 31.
On the occasion of the announcement of the session, the representative of the Minister of Trade confirmed in the SUNA Forum that the session represents the largest economic investment and commercial phenomenon, in addition to that it is an opportunity to hold many meetings with businessmen in various countries, announcing in this regard the visit of the Algerian Minister of Trade, and preparing a forum between Sudanese and Algerian businessmen
Major General Dr. Al-Fatih Awad Abdullah, Director General of the Sudanese Company for Free Zones and Duty-Free Markets, confirmed the completion of all arrangements and preparations for the launch of the 40th session of the Khartoum International Fair and the celebration of the Golden Jubilee of Duty Free, which will begin on Tuesday evening at the fairgrounds in Burri and will continue for eight days, with the honor of the Algerian Minister of Trade, the guest of honor of this session.
Major General Dr. Al-Fateh revealed that the preparations begin six months before the start of the session and are preceded by meetings of the Higher Preparatory Committee, which includes the competent authorities concerned with the success of the exhibition, pointing out that the Higher Committee emanates from it specialized subcommittees and holds its periodic meetings even before the start of the session of the exhibition.
He pointed out that the company always accompanies with it the social responsibility of the region, as well as interest in developing the company’s work as an important entrance to the development and progress of Sudan, especially the introduction of technologies and technological progress in the various investment fields, whether agricultural, animal, industrial and others. as well as the opening of many free zones in a number of states of the country with the aim of creating job opportunities for youth and women and for the development of those areas
