The Time for Integration Has Come… No Voice Louder Than the Voice of the Army

Although wars are characterized by destruction, loss of life, and years of hardship, this existential war in our beloved Sudan has unequivocally demonstrated that our armed forces, or the Sudanese army as we used to call it, possess military skills and war plans that surpass those of many of its counterparts worldwide.
Our army has proven itself to be a professional and resilient force, fighting in the most difficult circumstances and darkest times, and standing firm against a major conspiracy that targeted the very existence of the state. Its battles will be studied in military academies.
Here, we must mention with pride and appreciation the joint forces, the supporting forces, and the mobilized troops who formed the first line of defense alongside the heroic Sudanese army, writing the most magnificent epics and painting a picture of victories that will remain forever etched in the hearts of the Sudanese people. To them, we offer our salutes and deepest respect. The moment of truth has arrived in a matter that has plagued the Sudanese state for decades: the integration of all armed movements and groups into the armed forces. One army, one command, one nation.
All forces must obey the orders of the armed forces and operate according to its directives and policies. The Sudanese people themselves will not find peace or security until all forces are integrated into the Sudanese army. Multiple armies mean multiple centers of power, and multiple centers of power mean chaos and instability.
We have already witnessed enough of the regrettable interventions and actions of some armed movements or those who have returned to the fold of the nation—perhaps a small minority—who are working to humiliate citizens, stopping them in the streets and engaging in numerous problems and clashes with them, which we hear about daily. These practices are completely unacceptable and do not befit the sacrifices of our people. Therefore, it is now imperative, without any delay, that all agencies and forces operating outside the authority of the army be integrated back into the fold of the armed forces, and that all be united to build a brighter tomorrow and a secure and stable Sudan.
There is no place for multiple armies anymore. The army is the army of Sudan, and Sudan belongs to all.
