Sudan Shield Commander: Committed to the Pledge with the Armed Forces and Ready to Deter the Rebellion

Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant General Engineer Ibrahim Jaber Ibrahim, met today (Wednesday) in Khartoum with the Commander of the Sudan Shield Forces, Major General Abu Aqla Mohamed Ahmed Kikal.

In a press statement following the meeting, Major General Kikil explained that the discussions focused on the progress of military operations across various fronts. He reiterated the readiness of the Sudan Shield Forces, as an integral part of the Armed Forces, to decisively defeat the rebellion and eliminate the terrorist militia, according to a press release issued by the Transitional Sovereignty Council’s media office.

Kikal added that he briefed the Sovereignty Council member on the efforts and field contributions of the Sudan Shield Forces on the battlefronts. He emphasized the continued operations to deter the enemy and cleanse the country of the scourge of rebellion, reaffirming his commitment to the Armed Forces and the Sudanese people to achieve victory.

Major General Kikal also noted that the meeting touched on the efforts made to rehabilitate and rebuild the infrastructure in Khartoum State and the rest of the states affected by the war, praising the great support and continuous efforts led by Sovereignty Council member Lieutenant General Ibrahim Jaber in the reconstruction and recovery file.
