Sudan and Morocco Agree to Update Cooperation Memorandum on Administrative Reform and Digital Transformation

Minister of Human Development and Social Welfare, H.E. Moatasim Ahmed Salih, met today with H.E. Amal El Fallah, Morocco’s Delegate Minister to the Head of Government in charge of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform.

The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 17th African Ministerial Forum on Public Administration and Civil Service, held at the headquarters of the African Training and Research Centre in Administration for Development (CAFRAD) in Rabat, Morocco.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to strengthen and expand institutional cooperation between the Republic of Sudan and the Kingdom of Morocco, particularly in the areas of administrative reform, digital transformation, capacity building, and human resource development.

The meeting concluded with an agreement to update the cooperation memorandum previously signed between the two countries to reflect the institutional and structural developments that have taken place within the two ministries in recent years. The two sides also agreed to establish a joint committee to complete the review of the memorandum and finalize the necessary legal and technical procedures in preparation for signing its updated version.

On the occasion, Minister Moatasim Ahmed Salih expressed his sincere appreciation for Morocco’s strong commitment and mutual willingness to broaden bilateral cooperation and exchange successful experiences and best practices. He affirmed that this step would make a significant contribution to advancing public administration and strengthening the partnership and cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
