Minister of Human Resources Chairs Mid-Year Performance Review Meeting, Calls for Accelerated Implementation

Khartoum / Minister of Human Resources and Social Welfare, Moatasim Ahmed Saleh, chaired an expanded meeting at the ministry’s headquarters in Khartoum to review and discuss the Ministry’s mid-year performance report covering the period from January to June 2026.
During the meeting, the Minister received summaries of performance reports from the Ministry’s departments and administrative units, highlighting the progress made in implementing planned programs and projects, as well as the key challenges encountered during the first half of the year.
Moatasim Ahmed Saleh emphasized that the mid-year report serves as a true reflection of the Ministry’s performance. He stressed the importance of addressing the observations identified in the report and accelerating implementation during the second half of the year to achieve the Ministry’s strategic objectives.
He also commended several departments for the progress they had made, particularly in strengthening and improving data management.
The meeting underscored the need to intensify efforts in social protection programs, expand support for vulnerable groups and people affected by the war, and strengthen partnerships with civil society organizations and the private sector.
The meeting concluded with several key recommendations, including updating databases, enhancing field monitoring and supervision, improving the quality of services provided to citizens, and ensuring that all activities are effectively linked to measurable results.
