Khartoum State Minister of Education Meets Higher Committee for Secondary School Certificate Marking and Control Centers

The Acting Minister of Education and National Education in Khartoum State, Abdel Latif Shaker Abdel Latif, met with the Higher Committee responsible for preparing accommodation centers for the Secondary School Certificate examination marking and control processes.

The meeting was attended by Abbas Habiballah, Chairman of the General Union of Public Education Workers; Nizar Al-Sheikh Idris Wad Badr, President of the Sudanese Teachers’ Union; Hanan Mohamed Al-Sayed; Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Musaad, Rapporteur of the Committee; directors of education from the state’s seven localities; Dr. Mariam Saleh, Director of Secondary Education; Dr. Hamidno, Director of Basic Education; as well as leaders of professional and trade union bodies in the state and representatives of the General Professional Union.

During the meeting, the Minister stressed that Khartoum State’s hosting of the Secondary School Certificate examination marking and control operations symbolizes the return of normal life to the capital.

He praised the victories of the Sudanese Armed Forces and called for continued efforts to ensure proper hospitality and support for the teachers participating in the examination process, describing them as honored guests of Khartoum.

It is worth noting that the marking of the Secondary School Certificate examinations is expected to be largely completed during this week, with most subjects already finalized.

The remaining stages include score tabulation, result compilation, and quality control, which are expected to be completed during July and August.
