Khartoum Social Development Minister Discusses Stronger Partnership with UNHCR

Khartoum State’s Acting Minister of Social Development, Siddig Hassan Farini, met with Rafe Hussein Barakat, Head of the UNHCR Field Office in Khartoum, to discuss strengthening cooperation in support of the most vulnerable groups.
The meeting focused on expanding humanitarian and social protection programs, improving coordination, and enhancing joint interventions to meet the growing needs of displaced people and host communities. UNHCR reaffirmed its commitment to continuing its partnership with the Khartoum State Government and supporting humanitarian initiatives aimed at promoting social recovery and protection.
