Interior Ministers and Police Chiefs of New York: Interior Minister meets with his counterpart, the Interior Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan

On the sidelines of the Fifth Summit of Interior Ministers and Police Chiefs in New York, Lieutenant General Babiker Samra Mustafa, Minister of Interior, met today with his Pakistani counterpart, Mohsin Raza, Minister of Interior, in the presence of Lieutenant General Amir Abdel Moneim Fadl, Director General of Police Forces.

According to the Police Press Office, the meeting discussed aspects of joint cooperation between the Sudanese and Pakistani police forces in various areas of police work, particularly civil registry operations. This included providing the necessary technical support for the project and sending a specialized team to evaluate the work of the civil registry, given that the Pakistani company Nadera was one of the companies implementing the civil registry project. The meeting also addressed providing logistical support to the Sudanese police in the areas of combating terrorism, drugs, and cybercrime, as well as exchanging visits between the two sides.
