Imminent Resumption of International Flights to Khartoum

The Director General of the Sudanese Civil Aviation Authority, Engineer Abubakr Al-Siddiq Mohammed Abdullah, revealed that Khartoum International Airport handles over 500 flights, primarily domestic flights operated by airlines, in addition to flights operated by several chartered operators.

He explained that a number of international airlines have begun completing the necessary technical and administrative procedures to resume flights to Khartoum Airport. The arrival of international flights by these airlines has been delayed pending the completion of required projects.

They emphasized their commitment to continuing the implementation of this agreement and working towards restoring Khartoum Airport to full operational capacity. There are expectations that more international airlines will return during this period of inactivity.
