Human Appeal Launches Fourth Hearing Care Camp in Omdurman, Targeting 500 Beneficiaries

Omdurman /
The UK-based Human Appeal Sudan Office has continued organizing hearing care camps, launching on Sunday its fourth hearing camp at Zahra Nourain Center in Omdurman.

The camp aims to provide medical services to 500 people, including hearing assessments and the provision of hearing aids for cases requiring them, as part of the organization’s efforts to improve access to healthcare for the most vulnerable groups.

Human Appeal Projects Manager Ilham Al-Mubarak said the fourth camp is an extension of a series of medical camps implemented by the organization in Sudan since the outbreak of the war in 2023.

Al-Mubarak added that the organization had previously conducted three medical camps in Khartoum State, benefiting around 1,500 patients, in addition to another camp in Al Jazirah State that served 500 patients, bringing the total number of beneficiaries to 2,000.

She emphasized that Human Appeal will continue implementing its health and humanitarian programs to support affected communities by providing specialized medical services and enhancing access to healthcare for those in need across different states of Sudan.
