Health Insurance Fund Director Visits Merowe Medical City to Enhance Healthcare Services in Northern State

Merowe Medical City received today, Wednesday, the Director General of the National Health Insurance Fund, Dr. Farouk Nour El-Daim, during an official visit accompanied by the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development of Northern State, Dr. Moatasim Ahmed Saleh, along with a number of state officials and the Director of the Fund’s Northern State branch, Dr. Shiraz Omar Hegazi.

The visit aims to review the workflow at Merowe Medical City, inspect various hospital departments, and assess the level of healthcare services provided to citizens. It also seeks to explore ways to strengthen cooperation between the National Health Insurance Fund and the medical city’s administration to contribute to the development and improvement of healthcare services.

The visit includes meetings with the administration of Merowe Medical City to discuss challenges and needs, as well as reviewing opportunities to support medical services and expand access to healthcare, in a way that enhances the quality of care provided to citizens of Northern State.
