Head of the General Trade Union praises the efforts of teachers in marking and exam administration

President of the General Trade Union of Public Education Workers,

Abbas Habib Allah,

praised the victories of the Sudanese army, extending his greetings to the members of the Union’s Executive Office who attended from various Sudanese states to participate in the Union’s meeting at the Khartoum State Teachers’ Union headquarters. The meeting was honored by the presence of Dr. Ahmed Khalifa Omar, Undersecretary of the Ministry of National Education and Training, Nizar Al-Sheikh Badr, President of the Sudanese Teachers’ Union, and Dr. Al-Alam, Treasurer of the Khartoum Teachers’ Union. The President of the Union also sent his greetings to the male and female teachers working on marking and grading the secondary school certificate exams, commending the efforts of the Ministry of Education, led by Minister Dr. Al-Tohami Zein Hajar and Undersecretary Dr. Ahmed, in preparing the marking centers and accommodation in Khartoum State. He informed the teachers of the near completion of the Teachers’ Medical City rehabilitation project, with the support of Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, Head of the Sovereignty Council, affirming that the syndicates will continue, with the determination of the union members, to restore gains and projects, just as they started from scratch previously. In closing, the Union’s President expressed his thanks and appreciation. The Governor of Khartoum State, Mr. Ahmed Osman Hamza, was thanked for his significant support, which contributed to the resumption of marking and examination operations in the state. His greetings were extended to all teachers involved in the secondary school certificate examinations.
