Chairman of the Sovereignty Council Visits the Sudanese Secondary School Certificate Control Center and Expresses Support for Teachers

Teachers were honored by the visit of General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, Chairman of the Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces, to the Sudanese Secondary School Certificate Control Center.
During the visit, he reviewed the progress of marking and results processing and expressed his support for teachers engaged in the correction and assessment process.
The General Union of Public Education Workers in Sudan welcomed the visit, describing it as carrying encouraging news for teachers.
These included the restoration of the Teachers’ Medical City to its previous status, the payment of five months of salary arrears to teachers in Khartoum State, and a commitment to ensuring fairness for teachers and improving their working conditions.
The union also praised the efforts of the Sudanese Armed Forces in creating the conditions necessary for the return of examination marking and control center operations to Khartoum State.
It emphasized that these measures reflect the leadership’s commitment to supporting education and addressing teachers’ concerns, contributing to the stability and continuity of the educational process.
