Bank of Nile and Khartoum Graduates Employment Agency Sign MoU to Finance 3,000 Graduates

The Bank of Nile for Commerce and Development and the National Graduates Employment Agency in Khartoum State have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to finance 3,000 graduates under the “Graduate Dream” initiative.

The program will support a range of productive and development projects, including digital transformation and financial inclusion, Abu Halima Production Project, Zahrat Al-Mada’en Project, tuk-tuk and supply chain initiatives, and small-scale industries and productive training.

Minister of Social Welfare and Human Development Moatasim Ahmed Saleh said the initiative reflects the government’s vision of linking training with employment and production, while promoting financial and economic inclusion for young people.

Acting Minister of Social Development in Khartoum State Sadiq Farini described the partnership as a key step toward strengthening social protection and economic empowerment, helping graduates transition from unemployment to entrepreneurship.

Dr. Al-Harith Ismail Al-Ajab, Director of the Graduates Employment Agency, announced the official launch of the financing program and revealed plans to establish a digital platform that will assess graduates’ profiles and match them with suitable projects.
The signing ceremony also featured presentations on financial inclusion, financing mechanisms for small enterprises, and the role of digital platforms in ensuring the sustainability of graduate-led businesses.
