Sovereign Council Member Salah Rasas Receives Leader Sheiba Dirar

This morning, Mr. Salah al-Din Adam Tour, a member of the Sovereign Council, received Leader Sheiba Dirar and several of his companions at his home in Port Sudan.

The visit came after Mr. Rasas’s return from medical treatment in India and was to offer Eid greetings.

The two sides discussed a number of important issues that arose during Mr. Rasas’s absence. They agreed on the necessity of standing united against the conspiracies being hatched against the nation, the importance of unity for the benefit of the people and the country, and the need to avoid anything that sows discord and division, combat racist rhetoric, and promote love and peace. Both sides agreed on the importance of continued communication given the sensitivity of the current situation in the country.
