Minister of Justice Condemns Violations Committed by the RSF Militia in Villages of North Kordofan

The Minister of Justice, Dr. Abdullah Darf, has strongly condemned the grave violations and horrific crimes committed by the terrorist (RSF) militia against unarmed civilians in the areas of Al-Murra, Umm Kareen, Hilla Hamid, and Shaq Al-Noum, north of Bara City, as well as in other villages and towns across North Kordofan State.
The latest attack targeted the Legal Administration building in El Obeid City with a drone strike on Tuesday morning.
The militia has also engaged in widespread looting of property, burning of homes, forced displacement of residents, and assaults against women, children, and the elderly in all the villages it entered. These acts constitute a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and of all national and international laws and conventions designed to protect civilians during armed conflicts.
The Minister stated that these criminal acts amount to fully-fledged war crimes and crimes against humanity.
Dr. Darf further affirmed that legal action against the perpetrators of these crimes and their collaborators, both inside and outside Sudan, will continue before national and international courts, as well as regional and international accountability mechanisms.
He called upon the international community and human rights organizations to assume their responsibilities by condemning these crimes and taking effective measures to pressure the terrorist rebel militia to cease its attacks on civilians and allow humanitarian assistance to reach affected populations.
The Minister also reaffirmed the Government of Sudan’s commitment to achieving justice, protecting human rights, and upholding the rule of law.
He extended his deepest condolences to the families of the victims and wished a speedy recovery to those injured.
