Joint Force Announces Legal Measures and a Security Mechanism to Pursue Rumor-mongers

The Joint Force of armed struggle movements announced the implementation of legal measures and the establishment of a joint security coordination mechanism to pursue those spreading rumors. This step comes in response to systematic campaigns aimed at distorting its image and undermining its achievements.

The commander of the Joint Force, Lieutenant General Jumaa Mohammed Haqqar, stated that the force has been monitoring campaigns led by “personal motives and mercenaries” to spread rumors and defame the Joint Force.

He added that the force has taken the necessary legal measures, in addition to establishing a joint coordination mechanism among the various security agencies to monitor the implementation of these measures, with the aim of curbing what he described as media chaos and countering rumors.

The commander called on media outlets and citizens to rely on official channels for information related to the Joint Force, warning against circulating what he described as misleading information or defaming the force.

These measures come after repeated dissemination of misinformation and allegations on social media platforms concerning the Joint Force and its leadership, aimed at tarnishing its image despite the sacrifices it has made and continues to make for the nation and its citizens. The Force has consistently denied these allegations, asserting that such campaigns are intended to distort its image and undermine its pivotal and significant role in the country.

Haqar affirmed that the Joint Force will continue to perform its duties “with utmost resolve and competence,” emphasizing that these smear campaigns will not affect its ability to fulfill its responsibilities in maintaining security.
