Frini Visits Sudanese Secondary School Examination Marking Centers and Provides In-Kind Support

As part of ongoing efforts to support educational personnel and sustain the education process, Mr. Siddiq Hassan Frini, Acting Minister of Social Development in Khartoum State, visited the Sudanese Secondary School Examination marking centers in East Nile Locality. He was accompanied by several ministry officials and Mr. Khalid Abdel Rahim, Commissioner for Voluntary and Humanitarian Work.
The delegation was received by Colonel Amna Saleh of the General Intelligence Service and Community Security, Mr. Haider Mohammed, Director of Secondary Education in the locality, and Dr. Al-Rasheed, Chairman of the Teachers’ Union.
During the visit, Minister Frini presented in-kind support to the teachers in recognition of their sincere national efforts. He also conveyed the greetings of Khartoum State Governor Ahmed Othman Hamza, affirming that the Ministry of Social Development and the State Government stand firmly beside teachers during this exceptional period.
Frini stressed that the return of teachers and the resumption of the examination marking process represent a powerful message of resilience and determination. He described the initiative as a genuine declaration of the restoration and normalization of life in Khartoum State following the significant challenges faced by educational institutions due to the militia’s destructive actions and psychological warfare against citizens and state institutions.
The Acting Minister praised the high morale, strong sense of responsibility, and dedication demonstrated by male and female teachers across all educational levels and professional unions. He noted that their optimism, humility, and self-confidence reflect their unwavering commitment to the nation’s future.
Frini further highlighted the vital role played by the Ministry of Social Development through its School Social Services and psychosocial support and recovery programs implemented across educational institutions. He emphasized that these initiatives complement the efforts of the State Ministry of Education in supporting schools and educators.
At the conclusion of his visit, the Minister expressed his deep appreciation to the teachers who had traveled long and exhausting distances to fulfill this important national duty despite the hardships they had endured. He reaffirmed the ministry’s continued commitment to supporting the people of Khartoum State and providing every possible assistance to educational staff.
