Autumn Emergency Committee: Three States Affected by the Rainy Season

The Autumn Emergency Committee at the Federal Ministry of Health held its third meeting today at the Grand Hall, revealing that three states have been affected by the rainy season, while ten households sustained damage.
The committee reported that the number of affected individuals has reached 174. It noted that West Kordofan State recorded two fatalities, while conditions in the rest of the country’s states remain stable.
The committee also highlighted the availability of emergency clinics provided by the World Health Organization (WHO) and confirmed that hospitals are fully prepared to receive and respond to any emergencies.
In addition, the committee reviewed the cholera situation in West Kordofan, as well as the arrival and distribution of medical supplies provided by the Federal Ministry of Health and partner organizations. It also assessed the activities of organizations operating in the affected areas.
The committee agreed to hold its meetings on a weekly basis to closely monitor developments and coordinate emergency response efforts.
