Under the Patronage of the Federal Ministry of Health Undersecretary 3,300 Health Practitioners Take Oath to Build a Post-War Sudanese Health System

A total of 3,300 medical and health practitioners took the oath to practice medical and health professions as part of a unified program that includes more than 25 registration centers inside and outside Sudan. The event was held under the patronage and presence of the Undersecretary of the Federal Ministry of Health, Dr. Ali Babiker Sayed Ahmed, the Director General and Acting Minister of Health in Khartoum State, Dr. Mahmoud Al-Badri, the Secretary-General of the Medical and Health Professions Council, Dr. Zaki Mohamed Al-Bashir, a representative of the National Service, Major Khaled Ahmed, as well as representatives of official, popular, and private institutions, in addition to the families of the practitioners.
Dr. Ali Babiker Sayed Ahmed, representing the Minister of Health, stated during the ceremony held at Noramas Hall in Bod Nubaawi that the Ministry is working towards building a national post-war health system based on universal health coverage. He praised the resilience of health cadres inside the country despite the challenges. He also urged practitioners to commit to continuous training and to serve citizens with dedication and selflessness, guided by religious values and professional ethics.
For his part, Dr. Mahmoud Al-Badri commended the role of the “White Army” in confronting epidemics and diseases during the war, affirming his ministry’s commitment to training and coordination with relevant authorities to facilitate the work of practitioners, while paying tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed for the nation.
Dr. Zaki Mohamed Al-Bashir explained that the unified program covers all council offices inside and outside the country, noting the use of modern technologies and artificial intelligence tools to facilitate procedures and deliver services to practitioners, ensuring the supply of qualified cadres to the health sector.
