The National Council for Child Welfare(NCCW) Extends Eid Al-Adha Greetings to Sudanese Children and Families

The Secretary General of the National Council for Child Welfare has extended warm congratulations and heartfelt wishes to children across Sudan and their families on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha 1447 AH / 2026.

In its statement, the Secretariat emphasized the importance of protecting children’s rights despite the difficult humanitarian conditions facing the country, including suffering, displacement, and the disruption of essential child welfare services.

The statement described children as Sudan’s human and social capital and stressed the need to secure their basic needs and rights through sustainable social protection policies and comprehensive child welfare programs.

The Secretariat also called for strengthening child protection mechanisms and intensifying efforts aimed at safeguarding the well-being, dignity, and future of children throughout Sudan.
