RSF Intelligence Admits to a Widespread Security and Information Breach

The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) intelligence admitted to a widespread security and information breach within its ranks in the Kordofan region. This admission came during a briefing held in Nyala on Saturday, following the announcement of significant losses in lives and military equipment in the Bara area the previous day.

Local sources confirmed that the fact-finding committee formed by the transitional government to investigate the “large massacre” committed against the residents of Al-Murra village, west of Bara, concluded that the militia forces suffered a security breach that allowed details of the massacre to be leaked, despite attempts to conceal it and the confiscation of communication devices from citizens, including smartphones and Starlink devices.

A government official explained that the militia members were preoccupied with looting and pillaging inside the villages, which led to a direct clash with the residents who suffered serious violations of their rights and sanctities, which revealed the extent of the violations that the militia tried to hide from public opinion.
