Minister of Higher Education Praises Electronic Systems in Admissions Administration and Affirms Support for Digital Transformation
Professor Ahmed Mudawi Musa, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, praised the growing role of electronic systems at the General Administration of Admissions, Evaluation, and Certification Authentication, highlighting their importance in facilitating procedures, speeding up transactions, and improving the quality of services provided to students, graduates, and higher education institutions.
This came during his inspection visit to the administration on Monday, accompanied by Dr. Mortada Ali Osman, Director of the Minister’s Executive Office. During the visit, he reviewed the workflow on-site and examined the modern electronic systems used to manage admissions, authentication, evaluation, verification, and correspondence processes.
The tour included an overview of several electronic systems, including the University Certificate Authentication System, the Postgraduate Studies System, the Higher Education Admissions System, the Certificate Verification System, the Evaluation and Equivalency System, as well as the Reporting and Statistics System.
The Minister was received by Dr. Hanan Mohamed Zain Al-Abideen, Director of the General Administration of Admissions, Evaluation, and Certification Authentication, along with the administration’s leadership. He listened to a detailed briefing on workflow, electronic systems, and the services provided to students, graduates, and higher education institutions.
He also inspected the certificate authentication service windows, reviewing the procedures in place and the level of performance in delivering services to citizens and applicants. He stressed the need to enhance service quality and achieve the highest levels of efficiency and speed in processing transactions.
Ahmed Mudawi Musa affirmed that the Ministry places great importance on digital transformation projects and the modernization of technical infrastructure in higher education institutions, given their pivotal role in improving institutional performance, enhancing transparency, and facilitating secure and accessible services for students and graduates.
