Minister of Federal Governance Addresses Opening of “Administrative Leadership in Emergency Situations” Course in Karari Locality

The Minister of Federal Governance and Rural Development, Engineer Mohamed Saleh Kertkila, addressed the opening of the training course on “Effective Administrative Leadership in Emergency Situations.” The course, organized by the Ministry in cooperation with the African Center for Governance, Peace and Transition Studies (AcoGaps) was held at the Karari Locality Hall in Khartoum State, with the attendance of the Director of Local Governance in Khartoum State and the Director of the Sudan Academy for Administrative Sciences.

At the outset of his speech, the Minister congratulated the Sudanese people on the victories achieved by the Armed Forces in several regions, praying that God would protect the country until a great victory is achieved. He commended the clear and insightful presentations and scientific discussions held during the workshop and expressed his hope that it would fully achieve its objectives.

Kertkila emphasized the Ministry’s commitment to training personnel through programs that align with the needs of administrative work and directly contribute to the duties and responsibilities of administrative officers and staff within the Ministry, given their direct interaction with citizens. He noted that this approach was agreed upon with the Director of Human Resources Development during their last meeting.

The minister revealed plans that the ministry seeks to implement, including holding training courses in rural development and how to manage in the post-crisis phase, in implementation of the directives of the Prime Minister’s office to develop administrative work and build capacities. He added that the ministry had previously held a conference on rural development and has plans and studies ready, including the “One Million Productive Housing Units” project, which is targeted for implementation at the local level. At the same time, he called on young people to pay attention to training as a basic element for building and administrative development.
