Khartoum Health: Final Touches for a New Launch of the Children’s Hospital with SAPA and DOM Support

The Director General of the Khartoum State Ministry of Health, Dr. Mahmoud Al-Badri, inspected Mohamed Al-Amin Hamid Specialized Children’s Hospital to review final preparations for its reopening and the resumption of pediatric services.

The visit covered emergency, ICU, operating rooms, and inpatient wards. SAPA’s Khartoum office director confirmed that rehabilitation work is nearly complete.

Dr. Al-Badri praised SAPA’s efforts in restoring the hospital after severe damage and thanked the supporting organization (DOM) for its generous funding.

SAPA’s Program Director stated that the project goes beyond reconstruction, restoring hope for thousands of families, with the official reopening expected in the coming days.
