Al-Burhan Performs Eid al-Adha Prayer in Al-Matamma and Commends the Sacrifices of its People

Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdul Fattah al-Burhan, performed the Eid al-Adha prayer in the Al-Matamma area of ​​River Nile State, accompanied by Lieutenant General Mirghani Idris, Director General of the Defense Industries System.

Addressing the worshippers, Head of the Sovereignty Council congratulated the Sudanese people on the occasion of the blessed Eid, asking God Almighty to bring it back to the country next year while it enjoys security, stability, and prosperity, and after all its lands have been cleansed of the scourge of rebellion.

He also extended his greetings of appreciation and respect to the people of the region, describing them as generous and chivalrous, and praising their well-known history of offering the most precious sacrifices and giving their lives in defense of Sudan and in confronting all conspiracies targeting the country’s sovereignty and unity.
