The Advisory Council of the Federal Minister of Health holds its regular meeting

The regular meeting of the Minister’s Advisory Council was held at the office of the Federal Minister of Health, Prof. Haitham Mohamed Ibrahim, in Khartoum, where the meeting addressed a number of important topics in the health sector.

The Cabinet reviewed the current health situation in the country, especially the “Roll Back Malaria” initiative, which comes under the slogan “Together Towards a Malaria-Free Sudan,” under the patronage of Prime Minister Prof. Kamel Idris, in addition to the preparations for National Health Day in Sudan. The participants stressed the importance of community engagement and community initiatives in supporting these efforts.

The meeting also discussed the issues of medical and health cadres, valuing the role of the “White Army” of medical cadres during the past period, and stressed the need to develop arrangements to retain these cadres and improve the work environment and conditions, in addition to activating their allowances and entitlements, and applying the law to protect doctors and health institutions.
