Red Sea State Governor Pledges to Remove Obstacles Facing the NSWF

Red Sea State Governor, Lieutenant General Mustafa Mohamed Nour, pledged to remove all obstacles facing the National Students Welfare Fund (NSWF), enabling it to fulfill its role in supporting students and stabilizing the educational process in the state. He emphasized the importance of the Fund’s role in serving students and enhancing their stability. This came during his meeting at his office on Tuesday, April 1st, with a delegation from the Red Sea State branch of the NSWF, headed by Acting Secretary General Mohamed Osman Fakak, and in the presence of several state officials.

During the meeting, Fakak reviewed the most prominent projects implemented by the state branch, most notably the rehabilitation and maintenance of the Sea Ports Corporation dormitory for students, with support from the UNHCR and under the direct supervision of the state government. He expressed his appreciation for the state government’s support of the Fund’s projects and commended its recent contribution to student iftar programs during Ramadan.

The meeting also addressed the water desalination plant projects and the solar energy systems currently being installed in student dormitories, as part of efforts to improve the living environment and enhance student stability.

Fakkak noted the ongoing arrangements for the anticipated visit of the Secretary-General of the NSWF, Dr. Ahmed Hamza Al-Amin, to the state to inaugurate several service projects and to honor the state government in recognition of its efforts during the past period.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Fund’s secretariat in the state honored the governor in appreciation of his efforts to support the stability of the educational process.
