Minister of Health stresses the tightening of coordination between the relevant authorities and the maintenance of medical devices in all health facilities.

The Federal Minister of Health held a coordination meeting this morning with the management of the National Medical Supplies Fund , which was dedicated to discussing the status of the medical device system and ways to develop it, in addition to reviewing the challenges related to financing and ensuring its sustainability.

The meeting addressed the importance of ensuring the efficient operation of medical devices in all health institutions in a way that contributes to improving the quality of services provided to citizens, with a focus on enhancing periodic maintenance and providing qualified technical cadres.

The Federal Minister of Health, Dr. Haitham Mohamed Ibrahim, stressed the need to tighten coordination between the relevant authorities and work on the maintenance of medical devices in all health institutions, and to develop effective mechanisms to ensure their optimal use.

The Director General of the National Medical Supplies Fund , Dr. Badreddine Mohamed Ahmed Al-Jazouli, explained that health institutions have been severely damaged, which constitutes a challenge that needs to be addressed by meeting the needs of the health sector at all facility levels. He stressed the importance of coordination between the two sides to face these challenges.
