HAC Commissioner in White Nile State receives OCHA official 

Commissioner of Humanitarian Aid in White Nile State, Dr. Lamia Abdullah Al-Asha, received in her office the UN Humanitarian Coordinator for OCHA, Dennis Brown

The meeting reaffirmed the support of UN partners for the Humanitarian Aid Commission in White Nile State, which hosts a large number of internally displaced persons (IDPs) in camps and within the host community. The visit included an inspection tour of service facilities for IDPs in the Qoz Al-Salam camp and an assessment of the humanitarian situation.

Dr. Lamia Abdullah Al-Asha explained that the humanitarian efforts undertaken by OCHA to support organizations and partners are crucial in providing humanitarian services to IDPs in White Nile State. Given the continuous influx of people into the state and the ever-increasing humanitarian need for support, OCHA expressed its gratitude for their response to humanitarian appeals by providing support and assistance.
