Foreign Minister Meets with Secretary General of the Islamic Appeal Organization

Ambassador Mohi El-Din Salem Ahmed, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, met today with Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Adam, Secretary General of the Islamic Appeal Organization.
Dr. Adam reviewed the organization’s activities within and outside Sudan, confirming its return to its headquarters in Khartoum and the resumption of its normal operations. He expressed his gratitude to the Sudanese government for the support and facilities it has provided since the organization’s founding in 1980.
For his part, the Foreign Minister expressed his appreciation for the organization’s efforts in various fields and congratulated it on its return to its headquarters in Khartoum after the damage it sustained during the war. He affirmed the government’s readiness to continue providing the necessary support and facilities to ensure the success of the organization’s programs and activities.
The Minister also expressed his hope that the meeting of the organization’s Board of Trustees would achieve the desired results, thus strengthening its role in serving communities both within and outside Sudan.
