Cooperation Protocol between the National Health Insurance Fund and the Sudanese Expatriates Affairs Authority to Enhance Medical Services

The National Health Insurance Fund today signed a cooperation protocol with the Sudanese Expatriates Affairs Authority, stipulating the inclusion of the Authority’s employees in a step aimed at strengthening health protection and improving the quality of medical services provided to state employees.

The agreement was signed on behalf of the National Health Insurance Fund by Dr. Al-Farabi Ibrahim, Director of the Additional Medical Services Package Program, while Dr. Abdelrahman Sayed Ahmed signed on behalf of the Authority. The signing ceremony was attended by the Fund’s Director General, Dr. Farouq Nour Al-Daim, along with a number of officials from both sides at the Fund’s headquarters in Khartoum.

During his address at the signing ceremony, Dr. Farouq Nour Al-Daim stated that the protocol comes within the framework of the Fund’s plans to expand the provision of additional medical packages to various categories of employees. He noted that this step would contribute to reducing financial burdens and enhancing job stability.

For his part, Dr. Abdelrahman Sayed Ahmed highlighted the importance of the agreement in providing a comprehensive insurance umbrella for employees, ensuring access to advanced medical services, including specialized consultations, precise diagnostic tests, and inpatient care, in accordance with the highest standards.

The protocol includes a range of additional medical benefits, as well as joint implementation and follow-up mechanisms to ensure the delivery of distinguished and sustainable healthcare services.
