Al-Burhan: Saudi Arabia’s security is a red line and an integral part of Sudan’s security

Following an official meeting with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in Jeddah, Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant General Abdul Fattah al-Burhan, affirmed that the security of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is an integral part of Sudan’s national security. Al-Burhan reiterated Sudan’s full solidarity, both government and people, with the Kingdom in confronting all threats targeting its stability, emphasizing the deep fraternal and historical ties that bind the two countries and their brotherly peoples.

Condemnation of Iranian attacks and appreciation of the Saudi role

Head of the Sovereignty Council announced Sudan’s categorical rejection and condemnation of the Iranian attacks targeting the Kingdom’s security, describing them as brutal attacks. Al-Burhan praised the wisdom of the Saudi leadership under the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and his Crown Prince, expressing his appreciation for Saudi Arabia’s supportive stances towards Sudan in various fields and circumstances. He emphasized that this support represents a fundamental pillar in the course of bilateral relations and joint cooperation between Khartoum and Riyadh.
