World Bank and SAPA Strengthen Health Services in the Red Sea

The Sudanese American Physicians Association in the United States (SAPA) team in Port Sudan received the World Bank delegation, with the participation of representatives from UNICEF, the World Health Organization (WHO), and the Ministry of Health in the state, on a field visit to follow up on the implementation of the SHARE project in the Red Sea State.
The inspection tour included a number of health centers, including the Dar es Salaam Health Center and Prince Othman Daqna Reference Hospital, where the delegation was briefed on the progress made in the health projects implemented by SAPA within the project, which aims to support 25 health centers and enhance basic health services in the state.
The delegation stressed the importance of continuing these joint efforts to ensure that health services reach local communities, praising the results achieved thanks to cooperation and effective partnerships between SAPA and international and national actors.
