Vocational Training Students Exempt from Diploma Exam Fees for 2026

Minister of Human Resources and Social Welfare, Mutasim Ahmed Saleh, announced the complete exemption of all students sitting for the vocational training diploma exams, which begin tomorrow, Monday, from exam fees. Each student wishing to take the exams will be provided with a registration number without exception.
Saleh stated that the decision was made in recognition of the difficult economic circumstances faced by Sudanese families, particularly the families of students in vocational training and apprenticeship centers. The Minister added that the decision is a clear show of support for Sudanese youth and families who have borne the burdens of war, and an affirmation that the state stands with its citizens in times of hardship and will not allow economic difficulties to become an obstacle to education, training, and building the future. He pointed out that empowering youth with skills and employment is the shortest path to national recovery, reconstruction, and restoring stability.
