Undersecretary of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Welfare Rings the Bell for the Launch of the Apprenticeship and Vocational Training Exams

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Welfare, Dr. Abubakar Koko, rang the bell to signal the start of the apprenticeship and vocational training exams for the years 2023, 2024, and 2025. The number of examinees for the three exams exceeded 1,000 male and female students, distributed among 36 exam centers in different states of the country. The exams included 17 specializations, including computers, agricultural machinery, industrial electronics, carpentry, technical drawing, architecture, installations, lathes, refrigeration, welding, diesel, gasoline, and other specializations.

The Undersecretary of Human Resources and Social Welfare affirmed the commitment of the Government of Hope to develop industrial and technical education, pointing to the role of this type of education in preparing qualified professionals and readying cadres for the labor market, as well as their role in increasing production and productivity, and reducing poverty and unemployment rates, Dr. Dhahia appealed to investors in the field of private education to also pay attention to apprenticeships and vocational training within the social responsibility program towards the community.
