His Excellency the Prime Minister and the members of the Hope Government condemn this brutal targeting of unarmed civilians, service facilities, and civilian infrastructure by the rebel Rapid Support Forces militia.

His Excellency the Prime Minister and the members of the Hope Government call upon the international community to fulfill its responsibilities and hold the rebel Rapid Support Forces militia accountable for its atrocities and ongoing violations against unarmed civilians, and to designate it as a terrorist organization. His Excellency the Prime Minister and the members of the Hope Government extend their deepest condolences and sympathies to the families of the martyrs in the village of Shukairi, praying to Almighty God to grant them His abundant mercy and admit them to His spacious Paradise with the prophets, the righteous, the martyrs, and the virtuous – what excellent companions they are!
