Ministry of Social Development celebrates International Women’s Day

Khartoum State and the Ministry of Social Development, specifically the Department of Women and Family, will celebrate International Women’s Day on Sunday, March 8, 2026, in partnership with the Khartoum State Security Authority and in coordination with the Network of Organizations Working in the Field of Protection and the World Space Center for Culture and Media. The event will be held under the slogan “Rights, Justice, Work for Women and Girls,” and will be under the patronage of the Director General of the Ministry of Social Development, Acting Minister Siddiq Hassan Farini, and the Governor of Khartoum, Ahmed Osman Hamza.

This segment is important for confronting post-war challenges, raising societal awareness of women’s rights, and inviting partners to contribute through programs and activities to address these issues.
