Minister of Human Resources and Social Welfare Arrives in Geneva

The Minister of Human Resources and Social Welfare, Motasem Ahmed Saleh, arrived in Geneva yesterday evening, heading the Sudanese delegation participating in the work of the 356th session of the Board of Directors of the International Labour Organization (ILO), where he was received by Ambassador Hassan Hamed Hassan, Permanent Representative of Sudan to the United Nations in Geneva.

Upon his arrival, the Minister held a meeting with the Sudan Mission in Geneva, during which he discussed the agenda of the session and the developments in the country, in addition to coordinating positions on the issues raised and reviewing opportunities to strengthen partnerships with the United Nations system to support social protection, employment, and vocational training programs, within the framework of the priorities of the Government of Hope.

During his participation, the Minister is scheduled to hold a number of bilateral meetings with Ministers of Labour, Heads of Delegations and representatives of international organizations, as well as the Director-General of the International Labour Organization.
