Minister of Digital Transformation Participates in the Ministerial Program of Mobile World Congress Barcelona

Engineer Ahmed Dardiri Ghandour, Minister of Digital Transformation and Communications, participated in the Ministerial Program of MWC Barcelona 2026, one of the world’s leading platforms for dialogue on digital transformation policies and the future of technology.
The program brought together ministers, decision-makers, and technology sector leaders to discuss the most prominent issues shaping the future of the global digital economy, including digital governance, building a resilient digital infrastructure, and leveraging modern technologies.
During the discussions, Sudan reviewed its ongoing efforts to develop its national digital system, expand digital government services through the “Baladna” platform, and strengthen international partnerships to support innovation and digital connectivity, opening new horizons for citizens, according to the Sudan News Agency.
As Sudan progresses on the path of digital transformation, participation in international platforms such as MWC contributes to building partnerships, exchanging experiences, and opening new horizons for investment and cooperation, which supports the country’s vision for a more flexible and inclusive digital future.
